Due To Health, We are in the process of closing our kennel and will no longer be breeding puppies. We will be offering stud service to medically cleared females. DNA tested and Brucellosis cleared.
At LooseEndsPlace we breed only one breed. Golden Retrievers. Our goal, is to breed a healthy, intelligent, sound, puppy. A puppy that can be a happy companion to the family, be taught to hunt, to participate in doggy sports, or be a helper to someone who needs a service dog. To date our puppies have not disappointed us. Puppy buyers have found them intelligent healthy and easy to fit into their home and lifestyle. Weekend hunters have enjoyed them as partners in the field. We give back to the community by donating a puppy from every litter to a certified national and international service dog training center. So far each puppy has graduated to be court comfort dogs, assistance dogs, school therapy dogs, and most recently guide dog in training.

By the
Numbers
We prioritize breeding puppies free of inherited disease. While we can’t prevent everything. We can test for diseases thru DNA and OFA so that we know our puppies will at least be safe from those problems.
2
2 years is our magic number. We do not breed any dog before they are 2 years old assuring that they are physically and emotionally mature. By 2 years DNA tests have been run. At 2 years Hips and elbows screened by OFA and eyes screened.
30
30 days before breeding we insure both parents are UTD on vaccinations. That both have seen their doctor for health checks. Both are parasite free.
100
100%. Of our puppies are born inside our house. Usually in our media room. They grow up with the sounds of TV, washer, dryer, people talking, macaw talking, and kitties checking them out.

We are a small kennel. We limit ourselves to two breedable females at a time. The reason for only two is we only breed one litter a year. It gives our females a good rest between litters. We are state licensed #KN1299 which means we are inspected by both a state agent and our veterinary once a year. Though we do see Dr. Dave a lot more than once a year. Vaccines, medications, the occasional injury, physicals. Yeah our dogs see him on a regular basis.
